July 2018 - Sable

Sable, a coming-of-age game published by Raw Fury that you'd be forgiven for thinking it had sprung directly from the pages of Jean Henri Gaston Giraud's sci-fi graphic novel masterpiece - Moebius. There's not too much that can be said about this title at this time other than it's heading to PC in 2019 and looks visually stunning - definitely one to keep an eye on!

Sable is a coming-of-age tale of discovery through exploration across a strikingly rendered open world desert. Go on a deeply personal journey across an alien planet as the young Sable, exploring ancient monuments, ruined architecture, and ships fallen from the cosmos, all while learning the history of its inhabitants and discovering her place in the world.

From the trailer (available below) we see the titular character, Sable, using a variety of means to traverse the vast expanse, including a glider and sand surfing, towards structures and vessels which loom in the distance. We also see a small number of NPCs that don't look overly alien at this point, but either way, I'm interested to see how they play into the deeply personal journey described.
